Jakub Parusinski is a founding editor at The Fix, as well as managing partner at Jnomics media consultancy. Jakub is a Chief Financial Officer at Kyiv Independent. He has over a decade of experience working in the media sector, including as a journalist, editor and media manager.Jakub is also a part of an advisory board of the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, where he is a program director, media strategy lecturer and mentor to a range of media from across the post-Soviet region.

Sevgil Musayeva
CHIEF EDITOR, Ukrayinska Pravda
Sevgil is the chief editor of Ukraine’s leading online media outlet, Ukrayinska Pravda. She was among Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2022.
Prior to joining Ukrayinska Pravda, Sevgil worked as a politics and business reporter, specializing in coverage of oligarchs, corruption and the oil and gas industry.
She has won multiple awards for her work and was selected as a Nieman Fellow, class of 2019, at Harvard University.

Sabine Sile

Sabine Sile is the Director of Sustainability foundation, coordinating emergency support to media workers in exile from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. She is also the board member of the International Civic Forum. Previously, the Director at the Centre for Media Studies at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, the co-founder of the Social entrepreneurship association, the first charity shop foundation chain- Otra elpa in Latvia and the director of Partners in Ideas Foundation.

Olga Rudenko

Olga Rudenko is a Ukrainian journalist and the chief editor of the Kyiv Independent, an award-winning media start-up launched in November 2021 by the former editorial team of the Kyiv Post. Olga is the former deputy chief editor of the Kyiv Post. She has written for global publications, and was a fellow at the Chicago Booth School of Business in 2021. -
Jakub Gornicki
DIGITAL CREATOR, REPORTER, CO-FOUNDER, Outriders
Jakub covered the 2015 migration crisis, the 2020 Belarus protests and the war in Ukraine. He continues to focus on migration and conflict. Winner of Polityka Passports, INMA Global Media Awards, Grand Press Digital and nominated for the European Press Prize. He created the Mixer platform that supports media in the CEE region. He is currently working on a new project dedicated to artistic journalism.
Since 2024 he has been creating the Outriders Klub. Previously, as COO and board member of the ePaństwo Foundation, he developed it into a leading global NGO focused on open data/transparency.
For six years he founded Code for Poland, Open Cities program helping European cities adopt open data principles, as well as Personal Democracy Forum in CEE and TransparenCEE. As part of Sourcefabric, he supported media in Georgia, Yemen and Turkey.

Adam Thomas
NONPROFIT MENTOR, FORMER EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, European Journalism Centre
Adam Thomas is a nonprofit coach, mentor and consultant. He is the former Executive Director of the European Journalism Centre where he was responsible for a new strategy for the Centre, leading to the delivery of over €25m of funding to support journalism organisations in Europe and train thousands of journalists through groundbreaking programmes such as the Engaged Journalism Accelerator, the Journalism Funders Forum, the News Impact series, and the $3m European Journalism COVID-19 Support Fund.
Before that, he was Chief Product Officer at Storyful, the world's first social media news agency where he led 30+ engineers, designers and product managers and built 20 innovative journalism products.
He currently lives in Germany, where he is working on a book about IVF. -
Mick ter Reehorst

Mick ter Reehorst is the director and founder of Are We Europe, a non-profit media collective founded in 2017. The collective takes on the complex issue of European identity by showcasing creative talent & storytelling from around the continent and beyond. It publishes a print magazine, multimedia stories and podcasts.Mick studied journalism and international relations in Amsterdam and Paris and travels around Europe spreading the gospel of good design and journalism, and how they go hand in hand. He’s constantly building new projects and partnerships all over the continent.
